Is Counsel to the Board for Client Security. Previously , he served as Chief Disciplinary Counsel for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, a position which he held for 10 years.

Mr. Doherty received his Juris Doctorate from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1966. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Duquesne University in 1960.

Mr. Doherty is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Doherty is a member of the Allegheny Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association.

He has been named in Who’s Who in American Law and Best Lawyers in America in Criminal Defense, and is an Adjunct Professor, Duquesne University School of Law.

Mr. Doherty specializes in mediation, arbitration and select civil and criminal litigation.
